Vivienne Sullivan

BSc, Honours (Psych)
PhD Psychology

Vivienne has completed her PhD in Psychology focusing on mood disturbance, social engagement, disordered eating, weight management and occupational issues. She has worked in a community setting providing counselling to people on an individual basis to address issues including depression, anxiety, addictions, pain management, and stress management. Vivienne has also developed and conducted group-based therapeutic interventions to address issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and anger-management. Her roles have also included providing cognitive, behavioural and vocational assessments. Vivienne has worked in private practice since 2007 and continues to engage in research at an academic level.

 

Beatriz Pon

BSc, Post Grad Dip (Psych)
Masters Counselling Psychology (current)

Beatriz has been a registered Psychologist since 1999. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults around issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss and relationships difficulties. Beatriz has run a number of programs for individuals with depression and anxiety and has a particular interest in anxiety. Her prior workplaces and experiences include community health, vocational rehabilitation, return to work, EAP, working overseas in psychiatric hospitals, consultancy roles in employment related services and language schools. Beatriz is registered to provide counselling to Veterens and victims of crime. She is registered with Medicare and has been in private practice since 2003.


Lara Sullivan

BA, Post Grad Dip (Psych)
Masters Applied Psychology (Health)

Lara completed post graduate qualifications in behavioural psychology before completing a Masters in Applied Psychology (Health). She has worked in a number of community organisations and in private practice (since 2000). Lara has worked with people to address a variety of issues,including depression, anxiety, PTSD, pain management, drug and alcohol, and sport psychology. Lara works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural perspective. Lara has represented Australia at the Olympic Games and has a keen interest in performance psychology.

 

Melissa Donati

BA, Post Grad Dip (Psych)
Masters Counselling Psychology

Melissa is a registered psychologist who has completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology. Melissa has experience in a range of settings including child protective services, juvenile justice and criminal justice (prisons and community corrections), drug and alcohol, community health, vocational rehabilitation and private practice. Her experience in these fields includes assessment and treatment of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and personality disorders, and cognitive/learning difficulties. Melissa has worked with adolescents and adults in all settings. In 2004 Melissa commenced full time private practice and her therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused and Psychodynamic Therapy.

 

Rebecca Sullivan

Rebecca completed post graduate qualifications in behavioural psychology before completing a Masters of Applied Psychology (Health). She has worked in a variety of community organisations and private companies offering assessment and counselling services to both individuals and groups. Rebecca worked for two years providing counselling in a alcohol and other drug counselling service. She has spent the past five years working in private practice. Part of her practice has entailed working as a consultant psychologist providing assessments and counselling in vocational and employment related psychology. Rebecca is registered with Medicare and provides counselling for a wide range of presenting issues including stress management, anxiety, depression, addictions, pain management and trauma (PTSD). Rebecca also completed at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and has a keen interest in performance and exercise psychology.

 

David Xuereb

David has experience in a range of settings including education, occupational rehabilitation, emergency housing and disability services working in capacities such as psychologist, registered teacher, and counselor. His special interests include vocational assessment and the management of a range of anxiety and mood disorders. David is registered to provide services under Medicare and has been providing psychological services for the past 5 years.

 

Marion Chua

BSc (psychology); Grad.Dip.Psych

Marion is a registered psychologist who has worked in a range of settings including private practice, non-government organisation, consulting and occupational rehabilitation.  Her experience includes working with those who have experienced trauma, workplace injuries (physical and psychological), anxiety and depression management, and managing pain and stress.  Marion has also developed and implemented relevant training for organisations in stress prevention and management.  Marion is also registered to provide psychological services under Medicare.

 

Rebecca Dart

BA (Psychology) and Grad Dip (Psychology)

Rebecca is a registered psychologist who has a diverse range of experience in various settings including community and government sectors and private practice. Her experience includes working with clients presenting with anxiety and depression, intellectual disability, forensic issues, substance abuse problems, mental health diagnoses and those with multiple and complex needs. Rebecca's roles have encompassed assessment (e.g. assessments to determine eligibility for Disability Client Services) and ongoing treatment. Special interests include PTSD, phobias, substance use problems and anxiety. Her therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy and she is also registered to provide psychological services under Medicare and the Victims of Crime Counselling Service..

 

Olivia Walker

BA Psych (Hons), MEdPsych

Olivia has been a registered General Psychologist since 2005. She has experience in vocational rehabilitation sector assisting injured workers to manage their disabilities and return to work. Other experience has included; private counselling, Assessment and Counselling work within the Department of Education and Psychological assessments and counselling within the Department of Human Services. Olivia has worked with with people from all age groups and backgrounds. However, after completing her Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology at the University of Melbourne, she has an particular interest in providing assessment, behaviour modification and counselling services to Children and Adolescents, (and their families) experiencing issues that impact on their education and learning, such as; Childhood onset disorders including; ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectual Disability, behavioural issues,learning disabilities/difficulties, anxiety and depression

 

Linh Phan

BSc., Grad Dip (Psych)
Vietnamese speaking


Linh has experience in delivering treatment interventions to adults, youth, couples and families and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD). She is fluent in spoken and written Vietnamese. Linh works from a CBT, Humanistic and Solution-focused treatment orientations and has experience with depression and anxiety management, crisis management, adjustment and PTSD disorders, relationship and grief issues, people with multiple personal and/or physical barriers (e.g., the long-term unemployed and those with disabilities), those with co-morbid conditions including substance/drug related problems, and provisional diagnosis (DSM-IV-TR). Linh also has experience in psychological testings and assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Vocational Assessment, MSA, Risk Assessment, WAIS-III, WMS-III, NEO PI-R, SDS Australian Edition, BDI-II, BAI and DASS. Her previous experience includes providing group training programs on Health and Wellbeing such as depression, stress and anxiety management, relaxation training, assertive communication training, and return to work readiness programs as well as experience working with counselling individuals in Community/Personal Support Program (PSP), Employment Services, EAP, TAC and WorkCover.

 

Danielle Besanko

BSc, Grad Diploma (Psych)
Master of Psychology.

Danielle is a registered Psychologist who has completed a Masters of Psychology (Clinical). She has worked in vocational rehabilitation, in a prison setting and other government organisations. Danielle has worked with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol issues, PTSD, grief and loss, personality disorders and learning difficulties. Danielle's therapeutic approach is primarily Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
